Family Medicine, including obstetrics and gynecology, women’s health, pediatrics, sports medicine, adult medicine, geriatric medicine, palliative care, travel medicine, wilderness medicine, and wellness/preventative services.
Additionally, she is skilled in contraception management (including IUDs), uterine biopsy, colposcopy, fracture management, minor surgeries (including skin biopsy, lesion removal, nail removal, cryotherapy), joint and trigger point injections.
Academics
Undergraduate education: Syracuse University, College of Arts and Sciences: Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, 2006. Graduated Magna Cum Laude and completed the University Honors Program, with a thesis in developmental biology.
Medical education: University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry: Doctor of Medicine, 2010. Completed the Deaf Health Pathway and performed research in rural Malawi.
Internship and Residency: St. Mary’s Family Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, 2010-2013. Served on the OB Peer Review Committee, volunteered and performed research at a homeless medical clinic, and worked and performed research in Cameroon as part of an international elective. She received an award for dedication to rural medicine upon her graduation.
